Saturday, July 3rd - 11:00 am - 2:00 pm

This family friendly event is a combined tea party event, sponsored by over 10 different tea party groups in the Chicagoland area. Each of the tea parties will be hosting their own booths with varying activities (see list below). These booths will be on the outer parameter of a central picnic area . Food and beverages will be available for purchase from Siegel's Cottonwood Farm . Please remember to patronize Cottonwood farm for so graciously allowing us to use their facility for this event. Cottonwood Farms is also providing free children's entertainment : including train rides and inflatable jumpies.

TEA PARTY ACTIVITES Cook County Tea Party - will be the soap box for the event. Do you have a speech in you that you want to give? Go to the Cook County Tea Party booth and jump up on their soap box and give your speech. Speeches should be limited 2 minutes in length. Lemont Tea Party - will be Campaign headquarters for the event. All the candidates running for office are invited to distribute their campaign flyers and yards sign at this booth. At Campaign Headquarters you will learn how to make phone calls, knocking doors and get signatures for Tea Party candidates. Tri-Count-Tea - will be providing musical entertainment featuring the music of Sue Lovato from Tri-Count-Tea and Megan Fox from Homer/Lockport Tea Party. Homer/Lockport Tea Party - will be presenting a short story about our founding fathers. You can also come to the Homer/Lockport Tea Party booth to Reaffirm the Declaration of Independence -sign your name to a copy the Declaration of Independence, reaffirming your beliefs in the United States of America and the principals that our country was founded on. Jim Nessi's of Cold Blooded Creators will be providing children's entertainment with Bubba the Alligator singing to along to God Bless America. Jim will also have many of his other animals to entertain the children - Sponsored by the Homer/Lockport Tea Party
